Come and see the breathtaking coastline of the Eyre peninsula in South Australia.

The stunning coastline of this peninsula stretches from Pt Augusta down to Pt Lincoln and across to Ceduna, covering a distance of more than 700 km.

The natural beauty of this place is truly something to behold, and the sheer scale means an isolated stretch of pristine coastline can be yours more often than not.

The locations covered in this clip are; Greenly beach rock pools, Whalers Way beaches and rock pools, Point Drummond, Point Lebatt and Baird Bay.

A special mention to Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience for the amazing experience swimming with the local Sea Lions and Dolphins. An experience that will never be forgotten.

There are dozens more amazing places on this coastline just waiting to be explored. Eyre peninsula, we will be back again.

This is Episode 2 of a 3 part series of our 5 weeks Road Trip to the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.

In this episode, we have a few days up our sleeve, so we decide to head west from Fowlers Bay to the Nullarbor Road House for New Years Eve 2020, located at the Eastern End of the Nullarbor Plains. On the way we stop off at the Head of Bight Whale Watching Centre to check out the top of the Australian Bight.

We then head back to the Eyre Peninsula traveling down the wild West Coast.

There is so much to see and do along the coast.

We hope you come along with us and enjoy this beautiful part of Australia.

Off we go again in the maction to go explore Eyre Peninsula by boat.
Family of 4 exploring islands off of Port lincoln Eyre Peninsula.

#eyrepeninsula #portlincoln #southaustralia
The Eyre Peninsula is a triangular peninsula in South Australia. It is bounded on the east by Spencer Gulf, the west by the Great Australian Bight, and the north by the Gawler Ranges. Originally called Eyre’s Peninsula, it was named after explorer Edward John Eyre, who explored parts of the peninsula in 1839–41. The coastline was first charted by the expeditions of Matthew Flinders in 1801–02 and French explorer Nicolas Baudin around the same time. Flinders also named the nearby Yorke’s Peninsula and Spencer’s Gulph on the same voyage.

I spent a week or so travelling down the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. These are the places I looked at and what I recommend going to see! If you want to read a more in-depth review of the places in this video, make sure to check out my blog, trekwithbeck.blog.

Also featured is a short look into the Bunda Cliffs, located on the Nullabor. A lot of free camps are available along this beautiful stretch of coastline.
