What a fantastic way to end a thrilling day of racing at Ceduna Racing Club with the Numerical Real Estate / McEvoy Transport Benchmark 54 Trophy Race over 1600m!
Congratulations to jockey Ms Caitlyn Munro and trainer Simon Drewitt for their impressive victory with Street Culture! They raced with skill and determination, crossing the finish line with a time of 01:38.250 to clinch the top spot.
Funny Legs put up a good fight and finished 3.8 seconds behind the winner to secure second place. Royal Landing showed great stamina, coming in third with a margin of 5.6 seconds.

The Mortlock Shield Championships is the longest running football carnival in Australia.
The first championship was held in Port Lincoln in 1936, it continues to be held in Port Lincoln today.

The Mortlock Shield Championships is the longest running football carnival in South Australia, possibly Australia. The first championship was held in Port Lincoln in 1936, it continues to be held in Port Lincoln today.

Founded in 1936 it continues to be a springboard for young country players to go on to elite level football in the S.A.N.F.L. Competition and some to the A.F.L. It is also a yardstick of the relative strengths of Community Football Leagues in the area. The participating Leagues are representative of half of the rural area of the state of South Australia, taking in all of Eyre Peninsula and the Far North.

What an eventful start to Race 3, the Ceduna Foodland Christmas Benchmark 58 Handicap at Ceduna Racing Club! A rider-less horse loose on the track added an extra twist before the race even began.
But amidst the excitement, jockey Ms Caitlin Tootell and trainer Brenton Jones led Toorak Warrior to a thrilling victory in this competitive race. They crossed the finish line with a time of 01:19.120, claiming the top position.
Marina put up a strong fight, finishing just 0.6 seconds behind the winner in second place. Sanbuck wasn't far behind, securing third place with a margin of 1.0 second.
Incredible job by all the jockeys and trainers who participated in the Ceduna Foodland Christmas Benchmark 58 Handicap. The support from Ceduna Foodland is truly appreciated!

What an exciting race at Ceduna Racing Club! Congratulations to jockey Sairyn Fawke and trainer Trent Allen for their fantastic win in the Gypsum Resources Australia / Viterra Australia - Maiden Plate over 1200m.
Romper Stomper showed incredible speed and determination, crossing the finish line in 01:11.060 to claim the victory. Not far behind, Typar surged forward but finished just 0.1 seconds behind the winner. Brookong and Rokun also had a close race, both finishing 1.6 seconds behind the leader.

Race 2 - An incredible performance by jockey Sairyn Fawke and trainer Garret Lynch in the Highway One Motel / TAB Benchmark 54 Trophy Race at Ceduna Racing Club!
Riched showed his speed and skill, leading the pack and finishing with a time of 00:57.630 to secure the victory. Sir Grumpy gave a strong chase, finishing just 0.3 seconds behind the winner. Daveedo had a solid run, crossing the line 5.9 seconds later in third place.
